How do I configure my software firewall to access my internet connection?
To get Miro up & running with an internet connection, e.g. allow it to load the Miro Guide, and download stuff, while using a software firewall, make sure that it is properly configured and allows Miro to use both HTTP & HTTPS ports.
The concerned files are:
<your installation path>\Miro\Miro.exe <your installation path>\Miro\xulrunner\Miro.exe <your installation path>\Miro\Miro_Downloader.exe
Beware: Allowing this communication solely for the main executable does not help, you will need to set the firewall rules for all three executables listed above.
