Durch die Unterstützung für RSS-Feeds kann man sehr einfach aus tausenden Kanälen wählen, viele davon sogar in HD-Qualität. Miro lädt dann automatisch die jeweils neuesten Folgen herunter. So bekomme ich z.B. jeden Abend die Tagesschau auf meinen Rechner. Der eingebaute Miro-Guide dient dabei als elektronische Programmzeitschrift. Auch Videos von Youtube und anderen Videoportalen lädt Miro herunter, und das ganz ohne Flash! Wozu braucht man da noch einen Fernseher?
