People have been requesting the ability to mark ‘unwatched’ videos as ‘watched’.

A Miro user, Tim C., submitted some code along with the following comment: “Just starting miro hacking, this is a feature I’ve been craving for a while so I’m pleased it was so simple to add :)”

Our developers reviewed the code and it was rolled into the application in two days. Thanks for the feature addition, Tim!

We have a history of users submitting fixes and patches (especially for our Linux version), which is great. I just get extra-specially excited when we get user submitted features that are immediately visible and usable by everyone.

I think it would be great to post a big thanks with names of our code contributors, but I wasn’t able to readily obtain these names. This leads me to believe that we’re missing an opportunity to build a stronger volunteer development community — if you’ve submitted code patches for Miro or are thinking of getting involved, you should say hi.
