I built a package for SLED10, you can get it at (should also work for OpenSUSE:

The only stumbling block was getting python-gnome-extras to build gtkmozembed, thanks to a virtual Gentoo box I figured out how to do it, will try to patch upstream.

Is this really the place for this discussion? Surely the best place for this would be slashdot or osnews.

I offered this bounty because I'm a suse user, and my company are Novell/Suse users, and I wanted to bring one of the most promising projects to my favourite distribution, there are already packages available for Ubuntu and Fedora - if you don't like Suse use something else.

This is about providing choice for the Linux desktop. - Not restricting it.

Shouldn't we abandon SUSE?

After the recent fiasco generated by Novell getting into an agreement with Microsoft and the whole Open Source Community planning to fight Novell both in and outside the court, will it be sensible to shift over to another Linux distribution? There are other distributions that are as good or better that SUSE so which will be best one to migrate to?
